The manufacturing process for thermal paper is relatively complex, involving multiple steps and precise chemical treatments. The main stages of production are as follows:

Base Paper Selection: High-quality paper is selected as the substrate to ensure flatness, strength, and optimal printing performance.

Coating Preparation: A specialized thermal coating-the critical component of thermal paper-is prepared. This coating contains temperature-sensitive chemicals, such as leuco dyes and precursor compounds.

Coating Application: The prepared thermal coating is applied evenly onto the base paper. Precise control over coating thickness and uniformity is required at this stage to ensure consistent printing results.

Drying and Curing: After coating, the paper undergoes drying and curing processes to ensure the coating adheres firmly to the paper and achieves optimal printing performance.

Inspection and Packaging: Finally, the finished thermal paper undergoes quality inspection to ensure every batch meets established standards. The paper is then cut, packaged, and stored for future use.
