How To Store Thermal Paper

1. Use a protective sleeve and a resealable bag: Place the thermal paper inside a protective sleeve and then seal it in a resealable bag; this effectively keeps out water and air. Just remember to choose the right sizes for both the sleeve and the bag!

2. Apply a cold lamination film: Covering the surface of the thermal paper with a cold lamination film-much like applying a screen protector to a smartphone-protects it from damage and slows down fading. However, note that the lamination film should not come into direct contact with the thermal paper; use a protective sleeve as a barrier between them.

3. Store away from light: Thermal paper is highly sensitive to direct sunlight, so be sure to store it in a cool, shaded place to preserve the printed text for longer!

4. Avoid humid environments: Humidity is another major enemy of thermal paper, so avoid keeping it in damp areas such as bathrooms or kitchens.
